Welcome to the 2025 North Island Secondary School Orienteering Championships (NISSOC), hosted by Counties Manukau Orienteering Club.

FORMS
EMBARGO
Wesley College is embargoed except for students who, for education, sport, or other non-0rienteering-related purposes, have a legitimate reason to be on the grounds. Any competitors entering this area with an orienteering map or running timed practice legs prior to the event will be disqualified from competition. Muirs Farm is privately owned land and access is not permitted at any time prior to the event.
ACCOMMODATION and TRANSPORTATION
To be organised by schools or individuals.
HEALTH and SAFETY
- The Hazard and Risk Management (HARM) form for the Sprint event will be here.
- The Hazard and Risk Management (HARM) form for the Long event will be here.
- The Hazard and Risk Management (HARM) form for the Relay event will be here.
WHISTLES
Competitors to provide their own and must be carried for the Long event. It is also recommended for the Relay event.
PRIZEGIVING
Prizegiving will be held at the completion of each day’s event (weather dependent).
COMPETITION RULES
NZSSOC Special Rules (approved July 2024) apply to this event.

CLOSING DATE for ENTRIES and PAYMENT is 11.59pm on Friday 11 April 2025.
The NISSOC2025 Eligibility Form must be signed by Principal or Sports Co-ordinator and returned by email to [email protected] by 11 April 2025.
ENTRY FEES
- Sprint $15 per person
- Long $30 per person
- Relay $20 per person
- Sport Ident Hire $5 each day for Sprint and Long. SportIdents will be supplied for Relay.
