EVENT RULES:

For event participant safety please follow the rules below under which it is intended to run the event. These rules are put in place for the safety of participants and event organisers:

1.      People go directly to the start from their car

2.      Please do not go to the finish area or congregate before start

3.      People who have hired ident will pick them up on the way from the cars to the start.

4.      Start time 10:00am

5.      Once downloaded runners are asked to return to their cars to wait for others and limit the amount of congregating before and after the event.

6.      With the Covid19 Orange setting it is encouraged to still keep a distance (otherwise still have fun)

2022 National Championship club member performance – Middle distance race results

The middle distance race at the National Championships was held on Canaan Downs (near Motueka) on Saturday 16 April. Well done to all those who attended and a special congratulations to those who achieved a top three placing.

Auckland Secondary Schools Individual Championship 2022

The Auckland Secondary Schools Individual Championship will be held at Waiuku Forest on 25 May. This event includes grades for Year 7/8 students.

Academy Urban Rogaine Results

Our Academy Urban Rogaine on 27 March hosted over 60 participants in 28 teams (and some individuals) in a fun-filled three-hour race around Pukekohe.

Bring your team to the Academy Urban Rogaine on 27 March!

Come along for a day of exciting and challenging urban orienteering around Pukekohe, and help raise funds for the CMOC Development Academy. Teams of two to four people can compete in the most fun “three-hour tour” you’ll ever experience, navigating to controls and enjoying the urban terrain.

AOS1: Barry Curtis Park (Sunday 20 February)

CMOC is delighted to invite you to join us for the first Auckland Orienteering Series event of the year — AOS1 at Barry Curtis Park, Flat Bush. The event centre is near the main carpark on Stancombe Road, and signposting will be from the corner of Stancombe Road and Chapel Road. Park on Stancombe Road if the carpark is full. There will be courses for all ages and experience levels.

Eastern and Southern Zone Sprint Series Cancelled

Due to the restrictions of the COVID Protection Framework’s Red phase, we regret that we’ve had to cancel the Eastern and Southern Zone Sprint Series events which were to take place after school on Mondays and Tuesdays in February and March.
