Well done to the CMOC orienteers who took part in the 2021 New Zealand Secondary School Orienteering Champs on 23-25 July in Hawke’s Bay.
CMOC and the East/South Auckland area had a great showing of students competing at ASSC on 23 June in Woodhill Forest.
Last weekend a number of students took part in a special training event at Duder Regional Park, aimed at helping them get ready for the upcoming Nationals.
Nearly 30 members of the club travelled to Christchurch at Queen’s Birthday weekend for three days of orienteering. The events doubled as the selection trials for the NZ team to participate in the Australian Secondary School Championships in Tasmania in late September. Well done to our CMOC students who competed in the 2021 North Island Secondary Schools Orienteering Championships (29 April to 1 May) in the Manawatū.
Congratulations to the 50+ CMOC members who took part in the 2021 NZ Foot Orienteering Championships in early April.
CMOC kids Blake McKinnon, Isla Robinson, Catherine Motion, and Cameron Motion attended the year 5-8 Orienteering Camp at Teapot Valley in Nelson from 18 to 22 December 2020.
