Club Training

The event centre is at Reremoana School, Scotsmoor Drive, Wattle Downs.

Starts will be possible between 10 am and noon with course closure at 1 pm.

4 courses will be offered of different lengths and if people arrive early enough it should be possible to do more than one course. Coaches will be present to assist those who need help in anyway e.g. those unfamiliar with an urban street map.

While this event does not have specific training exercises, the opportunity should be taken to practice such skills as:
– Route planning
– Evaluating route choices
– Planning the direction of exit from a control before you arrive at a control
– Reading and memorising the control description and control number before arriving at a control (so you know the feature you are looking for before you getting to the circle, and do not punch the wrong control by mistake.

We will be using clip cards and control clippers for this urban event.

The cost will be $2 per person and maximum of $5 per family.

No pre-registration is required.
